Every product we deliver comes with the same production setup: the one we run our own on.

Solid CI and tests

Every change is linted, type-checked and tested automatically. Nothing reaches production without passing.

Safe data changes

Each database change is rehearsed first on a copy of the live data, and stopped if a single row would be lost.

Automatic rollback

If a deployment fails, the last working version is restored on its own, to avoid downtime and real production failures.

Nightly backups

An off-site copy every night, and a one-click restore that checks the backup before it touches anything.

Secrets securely kept

Keys and passwords are kept in a dedicated vault, never in the code, and never written to a log.

Dedicated dev environments

A full copy of the product to test end to end, on real-shaped data, before anything reaches your users.

Hardened servers

Every server is provisioned the same way, by code, then audited against 151 security checks.

Problems traced in minutes

Structured logs and an identifier on every error, so a problem is found and fixed fast.

The studio

An independent studio that sees things through.

Woodpecker Labs is an independent software studio based in France. We take products from a blank page to production, and we stay to run them.

The same people design the screens, write the code, set up the servers and answer when something needs fixing. Nothing gets lost between a design agency, a development shop and a hosting company, because there is only one of us to talk to.

Like our namesake, we keep at it until it holds.
